Our genre is Dubstep. While dubstep digipaks typically do not feature an artist picture like pop genre digipaks do, our digipak needs to follow conventional digipak design. However, it also needs to incorporate artistic designs that are characteristic of typical dubstep digipaks.

2. Our genre is Dubstep
Dubstep digipaks are different to the typical
conventions of a digipak. They don’t have a
picture of the artist like say a digipak of a pop
genre. We need to follow the conventions of a
typical digipak however we need to implement
features of a typical dubstep digipak like artistic
designs.

3. This is a digipak typical of the pop genre, you can see the
artist alongside her name. The colours are bright to match
the candy theme. Also the picture on the outside is taken
from her song California Girls.

4. This a digipak typical of the dubstep genre. The digipak
isn’t specifically one artists. But more so a collective CD
with a range of artists.

5. This is another example of a digipak. Again no specific
artist name is visible. However the similarity between the
dubstep digipaks I’ve seen are that they have an artistic
element.
