2. What is Computer Assisted Language Learning?
During the years that have been using the Computer Assisted Learning has been
demonstrated, it is a great teaching method, and improves students' academic
performance and who is not a complement to teaching the teacher but the
student is in active learning and personal, where learning is achieved according
to the student's effort also will have some positive results such as:
• Facilitates the development of cognitive strategies.
• Place the student in active learning situation supported by its own experience.
• Spend the passivity in the reception of data in their search activity.
• Ensures the personal involvement of students in their learning.
• Presents a flexible material.
• Refers the student to the point where they must work effectively.
• Simulate situations and provides models for decision making.
3. What is the role of the teacher / tutor in CALL?
The teacher always have to watch
in the design ± or their classes, they
should always have a sense, to facilitate the process
and the appropriate mix of the interaction in space n
virtual classroom activities.
En estos casos, el profesor ya no es el protagonista
de la clase si no que este solo se convierte en el en
un facilitador del proceso de aprendizaje mientras
que los alumnos son los que construyen y
