This document provides phrases to use when introducing a topic, stating your position, responding when you don't have an immediate answer, reaching an agreement, and concluding a discussion. Some examples include phrases for introducing a topic like "I have been asked to talk about..." and "It seems that I have to explain my position about..."; stating a position like "I think/believe that..." and "Sorry to disagree with you, but I think..."; responding when unsure like "Well, I've never really thought about that, so maybe you could enlighten me..." and "Hmm, what do I think/what's my opinion about..."; reaching an agreement like "Well, I think you've made a good point because
