Work Experience
Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd, Dharuhera assignment came to me as a green field
project. I joined the company as Jr. Executive and promoted subsequently as Executive HR
& Admin in 2010, Section Executive HR & Admin in 2011 and Sr. Executive HR & Admin in
2013.
Sona Koyo is a market leader in the field of steering systems in India. Sona Koyo is a
Deming and TPM awarded company. Company is providing steering systems to the entire
car manufacturer in India & abroad. Total Manpower was 900 employees in Dharuhera
Plant.
Initial Responsibilities for Green Filed Project:
• Building Plan approval and Pollution Consent.
• Fire NOC, Diesel storage NOC from explosive deptt
• Dealing with Dy. Director Health & Safety for BOCW Act compliance & factory
• Factory Licence, Registration under Contract Labour and different kind of legal
compliance (PF, ESI, LWF, Contract Labour)
• Helping project team to build the admin block and helped in procuring office
equipment (including canteen, attendance mechanism)
• Electricity connection, load approval and feeder permission.
ACHIEVEMENTS
 Awarded by Chairman for Sona Value Champion Award in 2014.
 Implemented feel free sessions for employees for sharing problem and new ideas for
company development.
 Got an appreciation starting of HR Help Desk in Plant to resolve the grievances.
 Got an appreciation for developing HR functions related to TS: 16949 like – T&D,
Job Rotation, Employee Satisfaction, and PMS. There was no NCR during TUV final
audit for TS certification.
 Developed new model for associates’ hiring. Later on we developed a career plan
policy for our associates.
