The Forest Hills School District is holding an information session about a new Partnership for Powerful Learning initiative to increase student access to technology. The goals of the initiative are to better prepare students for a technology-rich world by increasing access to computers and teaching technology standards including creativity, communication, research skills, problem solving, digital citizenship, and technology operations. The session provided information to parents and students about notebook, netbook, and tablet PC options; technical specifications; caring for and protecting devices; software options; and ongoing information resources.
