Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I think I got a lot of detail in to the image and it also
has a lot of colours in the image. It is also a simple
image and has clear colours and no shading from
the original.
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I did it again I would have a lot more into the
background this will add some more intrest to the
image.

Evaluation
I think the shirt looks good as it has a lot of detail in it
with the badge. It is also good that you can see what the
image is meant to be. This shows the basic detail is there.
I think the shading on the face could be better and also
the background could have more detail in it. To do this I
could have gone into the filter gallery and used the cut-
out option and this could have been a guide as it does the
shading well using not many layers. I could have also used
this to do the hair also to make it look more like the rest
of the image.

Evaluation
I like how the things that I did use iconic things from the film
in them like the martini logo or the pin she has on in the
hunger games. This allows you to know what the film is
without even reading the quote.
I would try to use the martini font to do the wording under it.
This would make the image look better as it wold relate more.
On the hunger games pin I would try to fill the wings more
with the words to make it look like it is a sold thing rather than
a a lot of words. To do this I could use a different font e.g.
impact this would work because it is a lot thicker and therefor
would fill more of the wings.

Evaluation
I think I did a lot of different things with my name that can be used in
the future in a lot of different ways. I think the cut-out one was the
most useful and looked very good. I also like the gradient on the
second set as it makes the words fade.
I think I would try to do more of the cut out ones to get some more
practice. I also could have used different patterns and fonts to get
different effects an example of this could be using a thinner font but
using a pattern like camo. This would work better than a photo as you
will not be able to see the photo as it will mainly be covered by the
white and it would be hard to see what it looked like just from the thin
text. Another thing could have done is with the first ones I did make
the gaps and things more extreme so you can see what it is meant to
be doing as some of the look the same.

Evaluation
I like all of the images because they all look like they are all different and work
with the images. I also like how the colours in the top two images worked out
with using multiple layers and colouring them so when I cut out the shapes it
left the colour behind.
I think with the one on the top left I would make it so there where more
colours. This would make the image more clear and also the man who I did in
white to make him different to the whole image would stand out more. I
could have also tried to use some more of the blend options. This would have
given me some different results that I might have liked. I could have also
made it so there was less black as some of the images are coved in black so
you cant see the details like there clothing. An example of a way to do this is
to make it so the brightness is turned down and also when I did the colour
range make it a bit lighter and make it so there is more white.

Evaluation
I think I used a range of shots for example a close up or a
framing shot. This is good because it adds a lot of verity
when you are looking at the images.
I think I could have used some props in my image to make
the story easier to understand. I would also have better
drawings to make it easier to take the photos. i could
have also will move the photos around so they are
different sizes to show importance to some of the photos.
An example of this could be in the marvel comic shown
below that has a lot of different size images.

Evaluation
I like the idea of the gladiator and also the
people in the background.
I would have tried to put some more detail in
the gladiator and also I could have coloured the
sand in front of the man.

Evaluation
I like that they have a lot of textures in them and also that they has a
lot of colours in them. I also tried to use things that where not
originally meant for the thing that I used them for an example of this is
is for the roof of the house I used a bamboo and it looks like the
roofing.
If I did it again I would have done a more detailed house and also I
could added something else that could have had a lot of textures In it
like a tree. Doing this I also could have used some more unusual urban
textures to make the tree look more unusual. An example of this I
could use may be a wall for the trunk and change the colour by using
things like hue and saturation or a colour overlay and turn down the
opacity. This will allow you to get the texture through the colour.

Story Overview
Red riding hood takes some lunch to her Grans house and then when She gets there
She sees that the Wolf is in the bed and thinks the Wolf has eaten her Gran so therefor
goes and starts beating up the Wolf with her bag. when her Gran gets back she is
shocked to see that the Wolf had been beaten up by the Girl as her and the Wolf
where friends but the Wolf had fallen ill and she had offered to let him stay in her bed
to recover.

I think the age of the people who will be buying my book is about 6 years old this is
because it has some violence that is not going to be on screen but it will talk about
it . I also think than they could be any gender and also all class groups can be
reading my book and but I think that middle class people are more likely to read my
book.
Production Methods

thinking behind your decisions for a more detail response)
I think that I will use a lot of shaping to make my pages. To do think I will get what I
want on photo shop and then use the warp tool to make this with the shapes. After
this I will also use the colour gradient to make it so that are coloured.

What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work?
Your plans for the book are very clearly explained.
You have thought very well about how your story is
going to be laid out and what it is going to look like,
which is good because you have a clear and
precise vision in your head. You also know what
audience you are writing the book for which will
help when writing the actual book and using the
appropriate language and vocab etc.
I think that if you added more detail to your
proposal, for example when writing about your
production methods, you will start to shape a better
image for whoever will read the proposal. They will
also better understand what you have planned for
this book.
What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been
further developed?
Your mind map is very detailed and well thought
out. I like how you considered different ideas of
where your story could go and what potential it has.
Within your mood board, you have also considered
what your characters are going to look like and the
font in your story which is presented within your
mood board.
In terms of your mind map, it might be helpful to
talk about your setting and time zone more and list
down some ideas. Although the original story of
Red Riding Hood was written in Medieval times (I
think), you could change the time zone to futuristic
for example or you could keep it the same but list
these down on your mind map. You could also add
some more pictures to your mood board regarding
the setting.

The proposal clearly outlines what you are setting
off to achieve with your book. You make the story
and the changes to it easy to understand.
You could add further detail to why you are going to
use the production methods you chose and
compare it to a different method to say why you
think your chosen method is better.

styles.

The idea you have for your story is clearly
explained and is easy to understand. This shows
that you have a clear vision on what you want to
produce and how you want it to pan out. I also think
that the adaptations you have done is clear and is
an interesting alternative to the original. You have
clearly outlined your target audience, this is good
as it is easy to understand who you are targeting
and the reasons why.
I think that you could explain in more detail what
tools you are going to use when creating the
visuals using your shapes. For example are you
going to use the warp tool to manipulate the look of
the shapes to fit in with natural environment or
other asthetics?

many idea. You have shown the thinking that you
have behind the story and how you are adapting it
to fit in with the children audience. You have also
shown what you want the book to look like,
including styles, have shown clear ideas on who
you want in you story and what you want the
environment be like.
I think that you could include more pictures in your
mood board. This would show more of the
inspiration that you are using to create the boom
and also how certain styles maybe followed by you
when making you book.

I think I need to add some more text and also photos to my mood board. I think this will
add some more detail to the idea process and I can also get some more text to match
the photos and explain what they are doing there and how I will use them. I also need to
farther explain the making section of the book.

I think that I don’t need to put what tools I am going to use as I have mentioned shaping.

Once upon a time there was a little girl who was called little Red Riding-Hood, because she was quite small and
because she always wore a red cloak with a big red hood to it, which her grandmother had made for her.
Now one day her mother, who had been churning and baking cakes, said to her:
"My dear, put on your red cloak with the hood to it, and take this cake and this pot of butter to your Grannie, and
ask how she is, for I hear she is ailing."
Now little Red Riding-Hood was very fond of her grandmother, who made her so many nice things, so she put on
her cloak joyfully and started on her errand. But her grandmother lived some way off, and to reach the cottage
little Red Riding-Hood had to pass through a vast lonely forest. However, some wood-cutters were at work in it,
so little Red Riding-Hood was not so very much alarmed when she saw a great big wolf coming towards her,
because she knew that wolves were cowardly things.
And sure enough the wolf, though but for the wood-cutters he would surely have eaten little Red Riding-Hood,
only stopped and asked her politely where she was going.
"I am going to see Grannie, take her this cake and this pot of butter, and ask how she is," says little Red Riding-
Hood.
"Does she live a very long way off?" asks the wolf craftily.
"Not so very far if you go by the straight road," replied little Red Riding-Hood. "You only have to pass the mill and
the first cottage on the right is Grannie's; but I am going by the wood path because there are such a lot of nuts
and flowers and butterflies."
"I wish you good luck," says the wolf politely. "Give my respects to your grandmother and tell her I hope she is
quite well."
And with that he trotted off. But instead of going his ways he turned back, took the straight road to
the old woman's cottage, and knocked at the door.
Rap! Rap! Rap!
"Who's there?" asked the old woman, who was in bed.
"Little Red Riding-Hood," sings out the wolf, making his voice as shrill as he could. "I've come to bring dear
Grannie a pot of butter and a cake from mother, and to ask how you are."

Original Script
"Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up," says the old woman, well satisfied.
So the wolf pulled the bobbin, the latch went up, and—oh my!—it wasn't a minute before he had gobbled up old
Grannie, for he had had nothing to eat for a week.
Then he shut the door, put on Grannie's nightcap, and, getting into bed, rolled himself well up in the clothes.
By and by along comes little Red Riding-Hood, who had been amusing herself by gathering nuts, running after
butterflies, and picking flowers.
So she knocked at the door.
Rap! Rap! Rap!
"Who's there?" says the wolf, making his voice as soft as he could.
Now little Red Riding-Hood heard the voice was very gruff, but she thought her grandmother had a cold; so she
said: "Little Red Riding-Hood, with a pot of butter and a cake from mother, to ask how you are."
"Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up."
So little Red Riding-Hood pulled the bobbin, the latch went up, and there, she thought, was her grandmother in
the bed; for the cottage was so dark one could not see well. Besides, the crafty wolf turned his face to the wall at
first. And he made his voice as soft, as soft as he could, when he said:
"Come and kiss me, my dear."
Then little Red Riding-Hood took off her cloak and went to the bed.
"Oh, Grandmamma, Grandmamma," says she, "what big arms you've got!"
"All the better to hug you with," says he.
"But, Grandmamma, Grandmamma, what big legs you have!"
"All the better to run with, my dear."
"Oh, Grandmamma, Grandmamma, what big ears you've got!"
"All the better to hear with, my dear."
"But, Grandmamma, Grandmamma, what big eyes you've got!"
"All the better to see you with, my dear!"
"Oh, Grandmamma, Grandmamma, what big teeth you've got!"
"All the better to eat you with, my dear!" says that wicked, wicked wolf, and with that he gobbled up little Red
Riding-Hood.

Story Breakdown
- little red riding hoods mother has been cooking cakes and asks red riding hood
to go to her grannies house to give her some waring her red hood that had been
made by her grannie.
- little red riding hood had a way to go to get to her grans house and it also
meant going through a forest.
- as she started to walk through the forest there a lot of wood cutters so she was
not afraid when a big wolf came towards her.
- the wolf did not eat her but simply asked her where she was going. She said
she was going to her grannies house. And then explains the way to the house.
- the wolf quickly goes off to the grans house and then pretends to be little red
riding hood to get inside the house.
-when the wolf is in there he quickly ate the grandma and then put her night cap
on and tucked her self into bed
-when little red riding hood then arrives and goes in the bedroom and sees her
grandma in the bed.
- as the wolf askes for a hug and the girl says what big legs you have and he
says all the better to run with. Then after this 4 more times this is said
-after this the wolf eats red riding hood.

Draft Script

arrived and let herself in to her grandma’s house. As she went in she saw a wolf in her grandma’s
bed and quickly started hitting the wolf with a baguette from the picnic. Hearing all of this her
grandma quickly dashed into the bedroom and stopped little red riding hood.
“what are you doing red riding hood.” Grandma said
“I thought you had been eaten the wolf.” She said
“oh no, this is Margaret she is very old and needed a rest after we went to play bingo we have
become good friends.” After this and an apology from the girl they all lived happily ever after.
