1. Development of training module for master trainers of multigrade teaching

Training of master trainers required developing of module so as transfer the field
teacher training and supportto teachers. A one day discussion and workshop was
organized at CULP-Jaipur (N=4; February 6, 2016) to finalise the training six-day
training module for use Rajasthan Government’s multi-grade schools for tribal
children called Maa-Bari Kendras.
The module making had two parts in which first three days consisted of sessions
with demonstrations and experiential sessions to give a feel for multigrade
teaching with learning episodes from the textbooks of the state governments. The
next three days of training were the in workshop mode and practical sessions.
In the last three days master trainers were required to create their own training
sessions so as to impart training to teachers in twelve day split over four phases of
three days each.
