Desney S. Tan is a researcher at Microsoft Research who works on human-computer interaction and physiological computing. He received his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. His research interests include machine learning, visualization, mobile computing, sensors, and evaluation techniques for improving healthcare and digital experiences.
