Even though, most parts of the world are still male dominated, the gender of the baby can lead to gender discrimination across the globe.

This is a positive side to designer babies.

Another reason why making a designer baby is risky are the several mutations virus’s and diseases that altering genes can lead to. Now a days its difficult to know when altering genes can cause birth defects and illnesses that will affect a child’s life forever.
