Purpose of the Role
The powertrain systems team are looking to recruit a Design Engineer within Cooling/HVAC systems, to
work as part of a small cohesive team. You will be responsible for the concept design through to detail
drawing of all system components, ensuring the parts integrate seamlessly within the overall powertrain.
You will be responsible for participating in design reviews, representing the team and taking responsibility
and ownership of the products you design. You will need to take an innovative approach to the role due to
the unique requirements of our high-performance systems.
This role will allow you to further develop technical knowledge of cooling/HVAC and general powertrain
systems. This role may also offer the potential to be involved in other areas of the wider powertrain teams
and other areas of the business.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Educated to Degree level in suitable engineering discipline (equivalent qualifications also considered).
Experience with the use of Catia V5 in an OEM or Tier 1 environment.
Ability to design in context, strong awareness of wider powertrain systems and components. Background in
powertrain or chassis systems.
Exceptional communication skills, for presentation purposes and liaison with suppliers.
