The students were very hot when they arrived at school and made paper fans to cool off. They researched fans and discovered they have their own language in Spain. The students were impressed by the colorful fan designs of Spanish designer Agata Ruiz de la Prada. They decided to design their own fans using color papers and following folding instructions. Fans are used to stay cool in hot weather and are designed by various designers using different materials.

2. There was very hot when we arrived this year at school. Our
pupils were so hot and they made their own fan with a sheet of
paper to get colder.
This is way we chose FAN as a topic to design. We looked up
information and our pupils discovered that fan has got its own
language, used in the past , here in Spain. They love to send
messages using fans!
Then, we looked up in internet some funny and colorful fans and
they found: AGATA RUIZ DE LA PRADA. They got impressed with
the colors and the designs. IT’S FANTASTIC!!!!! – they said.
They decided to work with AGATA RUIZ DE LA PRADA.
