THE COLLAGE 
Collage is an artistic technique consisting in gluing 
different fragments of material over a surface. 
Usual materials are flat (like paper or photos) or 
objects with some volume like clothes, boxes or metal 
pieces 
By handling chosen materials for collage you achieve 
an original and imaginative composition.
MATERIALS TO TAKE 
Tools: Pencil, scissors and glue stick 
DIN A4 white cardboard. 
You can select next materials according to the final 
result you wish to give to your Musical Collage 
 Silk paper of any color 
 Crepe paper (wrinkled paper) 
 News paper and magazine paper
GUIDELINE 
1) We fix a background gluing a silk paper of the chosen 
color on the white cardboard.
GUIDELINE 
2) In the base cardboard, with the pencil, we draw the 
pentagram and a musical note at the left.
GUIDELINE 
3) Cut small rectangles from color magazine paper and 
crepe paper and alternate to compose the lines of the 
pentagram with them.
GUIDELINE 
4) Glue the musical notes on the pentagram with pieces 
of red circles and blue sticks.
GUIDELINE 
5) Make the clef with some black rectangles.
GUIDELINE 
Wait for the glue to dry, you can put it on the 
wall of your room and watch the collage from the 
distance. 
You will forever remember this work in school 
from your friends.
