DesCartes Learning Lab Lori Dawn Montanez, Principal, Pueblo City Schools District, CO Fusion 2012, the NWEA summer conference in Portland, Oregon This session will provide participants with the opportunity to experience a data team session and develop a DesCartes Learning Lab lesson. Participants will be given the tools to set classroom goals and determine DesCartes learning objectives along with the Common Core Standards. Participants will compose a learning lab lesson plan based off of their NWEA MAP data to take with them for use in their classroom. Anyone interested in enhancing student achievement should attend. Learning Outcome: - Participants will be given the opportunity to experience a data team session - Participants will learn how to use NWEA Map data to set classroom goals. - Participants will learn how to develop a DesCartes Learning Lab Lesson. Audience: - New data user - Curriculum and Instruction Chavez/Huerta is a K-12 Charter school of approximately 1,200 students within Pueblo City Schools District #60. We have been administering NWEA MAP assessments for 4 years. We are using DesCartes and Instructional Resources to guide student learning labs and enhance student achievement.
