In Chicago, on May 4, 1886, a riot broke out between German born labor radicals
and Chicago law enforcement officers. The demonstration, organized to protest the
killing of a striker by the Chicago police the day before and for an eight hour
workday, attracted about One thousand five hundred protestors. However, when the
riot began there were only approximately three hundred protestors left due to rain.

The current experiment used a similar deign as Roediger and McDermott s (1995)
false memory experiment. In this 2x2 mixed factorial designed experiment, memory
was tested using a word list that was either blocked by five critical words on a
particular subject or randomized. Participants were university college students who
participated for course credit. There was a significant difference in false memory
when the blocked vs. random lists were compared to examine which had more
words remembered. The participants who were randomly assigned to the blocked
list recalled more words to include actual words and the critical words when
compared to those randomly placed in the random word condition. The results
revealed that using the blocked lists better facilitated the actual memory and recalled
more critical words/false memories.
Memory has been a subject of study to see if what we remember is a true memory
or a false memory. Some of the studies conducted on this have used sentences, prose,

Waiting for Godot is known to be a classic example of Theater of the Absurd ,
drama using the neglect of conventional dramatic form to portray the ineptness of
human struggle in a meaningless world. Director Judy Hegarty Lovett and actor
Conor Lovett s Beckett work with Gare St Lazare Players Ireland has gained them
a reputation as two of the world s foremost Beckett interpreters. Judy Hegarty
Lovett and her husband, Conor Lovett, had a very successful year in 2014. I was
very interested to see if this director/actor power couple held up to all the hype, and
I was delighted to see such a strong performance by both. Conor, although working
in a lot of solo plays the past year, was a pleasure to watch, and well deserved his
Stage award for Acting Excellence, in 2014, for Title and Deed. Judy Hegarty did an
outstanding job in the production of Waiting for Godotwith the use of the simplicity
of the character s needs, and subtle comical nature.
Although reading this play was entertaining, it was a lot more eye opening in
theaters. Throughout director Judy Hegarty Lovett s enactment, I was able to
uncover themes within the performance that I was not aware of previously. With the
help of absurdity and comedy, she effectively portrayed themes of choice, time, and
uncertainty.

A hero is known for decades that he/she have special power,or someone who saved
the world or change for greater life.According to Merriam Webster (2015), the word
hero is a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities . Its origins can be

This essay will focus on two male heroes: Fredrick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln.

The media and the public have had a relationship that has existed for centuries.
Through the media, people become aware of events and issues occurring around
them. As a result, they make educated decisions. Therefore, the media serve as
witnesses of the events happening within our societies and then report them to us.
That said, could journalismhave a significant political impact in our societies? It is
through the media that governments and their citizens communicate. For instance,
people communicate by protesting and voting, governments respond by amending the
issues affecting the public. It is also through the media that potential political leaders
gain recognition. Therefore, the answer is yes, because, journalism causes the spread

for their actions? A fair and just society is built by transparency and accountability
of the leaders. The media serve to promote this, by acting as a witness of
