You own $10m have a terrific family and are working on a project to help humanity, you are living and enjoying a good life. You go visiting your kid brother in the hospital and realize that his only hope to survive is a heart transplant within maximum of 30 mins. He pleads with the Doctors not to kill Him and you decided to do something strange –give Him your heart. You exchange your life for His life, you also leave Him with access to all your resources. If you had the capacity to watch him after you are gone, what would you expect from Him?
Parallel, Matthew 16:26 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Luke 9:25 “For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?”
Satan thinks that man will give anything for his life–including his faith. Job 2:4 “And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” So, he is going to try to get you to believe that as well.
We must, therefore, value our soul even above our own life.
When we order our lives, it not only helps maintain peace (sanity), but we are also able to optimize performance, improve efficiency and make progress. In this simple motivational message from God's Word we talk about four important areas we need order in our world.
This presentation was given in February 2015 to a group of entrepreneurs in the Midwest. It covers five steps for rising above the noise and making your brand more meaningful.
We are entering a world of limitless: noise, marketing channels, and business competition. The systems we have used for over 100 years were built for a world of limited access to information and will not work in the limitless future. We need new systems, which take into account the changed relationships we must have with consumers. Only by shifting our foundations to new systems can we create an effective, scaleable, and sustainable marketing future.
Heather Shugarman (Then Heather Said), Julie Fagan (Peanut Butter Fingers), Brittany Mullins (Eating Bird Food) and Courtney Horan (Sweet Tooth Sweet Life), discuss the darker side of blogging: Negative comments, mean-spirited emails, snarky tweets and media backlash. Even in a community filled with positive messages and supportive readers, a negative comment can deeply affect any blogger. This presentation shows how to handle these types of issues and ways to rise above the negativity.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
