• Luke 19:10
• For the Son of man came to make search for
those who are wandering from the way, and
to be their Saviour. (BIBLE IN BASIC ENGLISH)
• The Son of Man came to Seek and to Save the
Lord. (GOODNEWS BIBLE)

4. BACKGROUND
• God created man to be like him and reflect his
goodness on Earth. Gen 1:26
• Man sinned and deviated from this purpose
and went on our own way. Isaiah 53:6
• God gave a second chance to man by sending
Jesus Christ

5. DAYS OF ISAIAH
• In the days of ISAIAH:
Isaiah served under 4 kings (Uzziah, Jotham,
Ahaz and Hezekiah)
The People didn’t mind the things of God.
They considered the things of God as Rituals.
Like reciting National Anthem, National
Pledge, Lord’s Prayer, etc.

7. WHAT DOES GOD NEED?
• God needs our:
• ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF SIN AND REPENTANCE

• ABOVE ALL --- OURSELVES
WHAT DO WE USE THESE FOR?

8. WHAT DOES GOD NEED US FOR?
• Jesus Called Zacchaeus to descend so he can
dine with him. Lk. 19: 5, Rev. 3:20
• To Bring Glory to his name. 2 Thess. 1:12
• To Fulfill his purpose
God’s purpose is to establish his kingdom
among all men and draw all men to himself.
