The document discusses decision-making as a key spiritual discipline. It notes that good decisions strengthen the brain while bad decisions injure it. Satan aims to distort our decision-making through deception. The document advocates developing the mind of Christ and transforming our minds through obedience to God rather than being conformed to the world. It proposes that listening to biblical teachings can help improve our decision-making skills.

Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
If no one can see God and live (Ex. 33:19-23) then why did Jesus promise the pure in heart that they would "see God"? (Mt. 5:8) How did Job and David see God? (Job 42:5; Psa. 19) How have you seen God? What difference has seeing Him made in your life? What are our hearts naturally? (Jer. 17:9) What are the characteristics of a divided or insincere heart? (Psa. 86:11; Ez. 11:19) Describe the condition of your heart. Why does God want our hearts, even more than our minds, emotions or behavior? (Prov. 4:23; 27:19; Jer. 29:13)
After being justified as a righteous by the grace of God and and one's faith. Sanctified living is necessary for growth, fulfilling one's own purpose in life and pleasing God.
This sermon considers Jesus' sixth beatitude, the blessing on the pure in heart. We consider two aspects of a pure heart: a heart that is undivided and a heart that is cleansed. We then look at Colin Smith's 7 steps to promote purity of heart as a practical application.

This was my first sermon. I wrote and delivered it to fill in my for my friend, who is the pastor at our church (www.reallylivinghamilton.org). In it I talk about my journey in understanding christian love which was a struggle since I'm more logically/mechanically minded. Ecclesiastes played a large part in the sermon.
I also have a blog up at http://Walk.ingWithGod.com where I write about living a practical christian lifestyle as a husband, father, and self-employed software engineer working in corporate Canada.
My sermon notes and Powerpoint slide deck will also be available there.
My friend, you don’t need to keep waiting until the Lord tells you what your call is. He already stated it in the scriptures. He charged us to do the very same things that he was doing. He was not going to ask us to do something that we were not able to do. He put it in our spirit everything that we could ever need to do what he commanded us to do.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
