In June 2016, Ukraine's decentralization reform saw local budgets increase by 50%, with amalgamated communities' budgets growing fivefold, leading to a total revenue of UAH 4.55 billion. An agreement was signed for the integrated development of four cities with a budget of EUR 5.85 million, while UAH 2.58 billion has been allocated from the state fund for regional development for various infrastructure projects. Additionally, 592 infrastructure projects have been prepared by amalgamated communities for government grants, amounting to UAH 1 billion in total budget support for 2016.
