Deacon 3300 is an extruded gasket compound suitable for extreme temperatures between -425°F and 1200°F. It maintains flexibility to fill voids and irregularities in flanges better than die-cut gaskets. It is ideal for metal-to-metal applications involving steam, hot air, or chemicals. Deacon 8875-Thin and 7228 are paste sealants for threads and flanges that set pliably and resist chemicals and hydrocarbons. Deacon 770-L is a liquid sealant for applications from 200-950°F, sealing joints and dressing gaskets in steam, liquids, hydrocarbons and solvents.

irregularities better than standard die cut gaskets. It is ideal for metal-to-metal

5. • Deacon 7228 is a paste sealant. Kevlar® Fibered Paste, Sets Pliable, Excellent
Resistance to Gasoline, Water, Oils, Hydrocarbons, Glycol, Anti-Freeze, Trowel on
or Caulk.

7. • Deacon 770-L is a thermal-reactive, sealing compound for threads, gasket dressings, and metal-to-
metal applications. Ideal for high-temperature (200ºF to 950ºF), high-pressure situations, including
steams, liquors, hydrocarbons, and solvents. In the presence of heat, Deacon 770-L forms a
mechanical-type seal. It will not interfere with future repairs of metal-to-metal joints.

• Application Procedure: Deacon 770-L is brushed onto the sealing surface in a complete, uniform,
thin coating.
• Note: Deacon 770-L will flow filling small voids and surface irregularities creating a seal between
the gasket and the flange surface where most leak problems initiate.

8. • Deacon Crow Seal is a paste sealant / adhesive. Air dries in 1 hr. then a full cure
requires gradually increasing the heat to 500°F. Hard setting, Not recommended
for Water or Steam.
• For Use On: Threads, Flanges, Ductwork, Any Metal-to-Metal Joints

9. • Deacon 5500 is a sealant / packing. PTFE Mixture with a Lubricant Carrier, Pliable,
Non-Hardening, Excellent Lubricity, Extreme Pressure Resistance, Compresses to
