This document provides information about the International Smart Grids Action Network (ISGAN). ISGAN facilitates knowledge sharing and technical assistance to accelerate smart grid deployment globally. It was established at the Clean Energy Ministerial in 2010 and carries out foundational projects on smart grid inventories, case studies, cost-benefit methodologies, and insights for decision makers. ISGAN also coordinates with other international organizations and tracks interoperability standard development to promote the transition to smart grids worldwide. Participating provides Italy opportunities to optimize demonstrations, build skills, educate consumers, promote technology, and help standardize solutions.
