2012 to Present: Wrapports/Aggrego/Chicago Sun-Times – Chicago, IL
Project & Data Acquisition Coordinator: Coordinate projects, data collections, and research for
online and print editions for the media company – local news, market data service, and foreign news for
the public. The data collected for new stories includes police, fire, building permits, marriages, etc.
¾ Manage and supervise my team of 4 professionals; 3 of whom are overseas. Responsible for
scheduling, project planning, research, and data acquisition/analysis.
¾ Successfully compile data for the Chicagoland area, The Caribbean, and Ireland; created
individual databases for each dataset and implemented a automation process that pushed the
finished data to the editorial team.
¾ Research FOIA laws in each state/country in which we maintained clients and maintained a
database of the section of laws that pertained to our data collecting efforts.
¾ Write standardized FOIA request letters based on and utilizing FOIA/Sunshine laws of the
state/country.
¾ Developed a unique data review tool, that holds all the datasets, where my team and the
editorial team can view data in a user friendly application.

Project & Data Acquisition Coordinator: Managed and lead offshore developers, project coordination,
management, and research coordination for this online media company - local news and market data
service for current and aspiring homeowners, home buyers and home sellers; as well as news to the
local level such as cities to report police, fire, building permits, marriages, etc.
¾ Supervised, mentored, and managed a team of 6 professionals offshore, leading scheduling,
data acquisition/analysis, and project planning.
¾ Formalized and benchmarked business, leading launch of a new market in Florida and overseas
data collection and programming team; direct resource allocation, planning, and coordination.
¾ Led project management strategies for market research assignment for Miami-Dade County;
identified and collected Assessor data, researched real estate records and assembled a
massive amount of GIS information including maps, school districts, city, county and political
boundaries.

existing Perl scripts to fit the new data layout.
