2. A Deputy Governor is the Leader of his
Region.
He performs the duties under the
directions of the International Governing
Board and District Governor.
4. 1.Should act as a liaison officer to
motivate the clubs to strengthen
the purpose and objectives of
Vasavi Clubs International.
5. 2. Should work closely with all the
International Governing Board
Members, Governor, District
Cabinet Officers and Club Officers.
6. 3. Should attend all scheduled
meetings of VCI and District regularly.
7. 4. Should attend DGTS, VALT and
all other Training programmes
conducted by VCI
8. 5. Should accompany the
International Leaders at the time of
Dawn to Dusk Programme and design
the programme.
9. 6. Should invite any
International Officer for any
programme only
once in his tenure.
10. 7. Should not Organise/attend any
other Programme or Project on
the day of International Governing
Board Meeting or District Cabinet
Meeting or Micro Cabinet Meeting
11. 8. Should visit all the Clubs in his
Region before the end of March
and report to the International
Secretariat and Governor within 10
days in Format No. 3002.
12. 9. Should send his Monthly reports
to International Secretariat and
Governor every month in Format
No. 3001 on or before 15th of
succeeding month.
20. 14. Should Educate the clubs
about the Contest
Rules,Programme of the Year
and Calender of Events and
Theme of the year.
21. 15. Should guide the New Clubs
and sponsoring clubs at the time of
Inauguration about the Procedure
and Protocols to be adopted.
22. 16. Deputy Governor should see that
all Model papers are supplied to
all the New Clubs before Inauguration
and a set of papers to
Sponsor Club in time as follows:

F. Seating Arrangements on the Dais

24. 17. Should see that proper
Orientation is conducted before the
Inauguration of New Club as per
New Club Extension Norms and
send the Formats to International
Secretariat.
25. 18. Should motivate the clubs to pay
their Annual Subscription before
the deadline given in Contest rules.
27. 19. Should attend District
Conference (DISCON) &
International Convention
(ICON)
28. 20. Should organise Regional
Conference either in the month
of July
or August and recognise clubs
with Awards for their
outstanding achievements
29. 21. Should submit a report on
Regional Conference along with the
Details of Attendance of Club
Presidents & Zone Chairmen, details
of Clubwise Registrations and Awards
in detail to International
Secretariat and Governor within 20
days
31. 22. All the Formats should be sent
to International Secretariat only &
not to the Residences of
International Officers in case of
International copy.
33. 23. The Deputy Governor should
hold the Region Meets with Zone
Chairperson, Region Secretary,
Presidents, General Secretaries
and Treasurers of clubs in his/her
Region in the months of March
& June.
34. 24. Should send the Format
No. 3003 to International
Secretariat and
Governor within 10 days of the
Region Meet
35. 25. Must follow the Norms
given by International
Governing Board
(IGB) at the time of visit to clubs
i.e. Dy. Governor's official visit
38. 27. Awards to be declared to only
those clubs which have organised
Deputy Governor's visits, Zone
Chairpersons visit, Dawn to Dusk,
Paid their club dues and
registrations made at Regional
Conference.
39. 28. Should implement point No.
4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,17 without fail. If
he/she fails to do so, he/she shall
not be eligible for any
International and District Awards.
