 Worsley Multifuel Cogen Project – Condensate Treatment Plant
 Procurement Manager - Overall supervision of procurement team and directly managed
fabrication in China from the pre-qualification, through placement of supply agreements,
manufacture and delivery for 3 ion exchange trains – Cation/Anion/Mixed Bed – 9 carbon
steel rubber lined pressure vessels in total complete with internals. Directly managed also
the Chinese fabrication of all prefabricated interconnecting pipe spools (carbon & stainless
steel) and delivery (15 off 40’ shipping containers) to construction site. Significant logistical
issues were managed by the VWS procurement team.

 Rosehill & Camellia Recycled Water Treatment plant
 Procurement Manager - Managed procurement team for full turnkey design and build of 20
MLD reuse plant including civil works, site erected tanks, submerged continuous
microfiltration plant with innovative stainless steel cell design, cation exchange for ammonia
removal, Reverse Osmosis, degassing and chemical dosing.

 Fluor Santos – Upstream GLNG Desalination Plant
 Procurement Manager – Successfully completed contract for coal seam gas water. Overall
supervision of the procurement team. Directly managed the placement of supply agreements
in China and management of ongoing fabrication of both multimedia filter vessels (9 off) and
cation exchange softener vessels (7 off) for 2 separate Santos sites. Instigated the
partnering of a new Chinese fabricator, experienced in the local Chinese market in RO, to
manufacture RO skids to international expectations along with appropriate documentation.
Tenders  Bayswater Power Station Cooling Water Treatment
 Senior Estimator - Responsible for the entire capital works estimate, pricing schedules,
tender programme & cash flow projections for the CW upgrade (4 units) including lime
softening, addition of Actiflo clarification, refurbishment of filtration vessels, uprate of RO
plant feed pumps and coordination and integration of sister company input for uprate of the
Brine Concentration Plant downstream of RO Reject.
Tenders  Stanwell Power Station Cooling Water Treatment
 Senior Estimator - Responsible for the entire capital works estimate, pricing schedules,
tender programme & cash flow projections for the CW upgrade including Actiflo and sludge
management systems
Tenders  Illawarra Wastewater Treatment
 Senior Estimator and Project Engineer - Responsible for the entire mechanical and electrical
works estimate, pricing schedules, tender programme & cash flow projections for the uprate
of 3 sewage treatment plant sites, Bellambi, Wollongong & Port Kembla for Sydney Water in
coordination with civil construction consortium partner. At the contract stage assisted the
Project Manager through design phase with contract administration, budget set up and
recruitment of staff.

 Procurement Manager - Singly responsible for the complete purchase of all fabricated and
bought out equipment, assembly and manufacture in New Zealand and delivery to
Kooragang Island site of a Mixed Bed ion exchange train.
