CV Guide

Your CV is potentially the first point of contact that have with a future employer. It is your first
chance to sell yourself to the organization, so it should be specific for the position applied for and
accurately represent you and your skills.

Your CV should include:
                   A short profile
                   Personal details and contact information
                   Education, qualifications and professional memberships
                   Training courses attended, computer skills etc
                   Work experience (starting with your most recent role) Hobbies and
                   Interests
                   References (‘available upon request’ is acceptable)

Do:
                   Use bullet points
                   Avoid gaps in your work history
                   Familiarize yourself with your CV
                   Keep statements short and precise Use a basic typing font
                   Use spell check
                   Limit the CV to 4 pages (ideally)


Do not:
                   Leave out relevant information
                   Send hand written CVs
                   Bind your CV
                   State anything that you cannot support in an interview
