7. How to make a cover letter ?
First paragraph: Introduction
●Introduce yourself briefly (a new graduate or a seasoned professional,
where you come from, what school you attended, etc....)
Be quick, it's not your CV !
● Mention the position you are applying for.
● If it's not a spontaneous application, specify how you learned about
the opening.
● State your general qualifications for the job (situate your skills within
the context of what the recruiter is looking for; don't just mention your
skills).
It's the transition for the 2nd paragraph.
8. How to make a cover letter ?
Second paragraph:
● More details about your qualifications and back up your assertions.
●Choose your most relevant qualifications and discuss how your
background and experience qualify you for the job.
● Remember that you should not repeat what is already in your
resume. Use different sentence structures and try to be imaginative,
yet concise.
●Remember that you have to proove your skills so don't write too much
skills if your experience can't proove it.
