Business Intelligence Manager, Bolton at Home, November 2012- June 2015
 Managing and developing teams responsible for delivering central and customer services for the
organisation, including business intelligence, knowledge and information and customer care. I worked
with staff to annually review their personal development plans and supported them to attend
appropriate training. I also researched and drafted a proposal to seek approval of a customer care
training programme and latterly a project management training programme. I have ensured training and
support for staff to meet individual training needs and to meet their personal development needs. I have
also ensured the appropriate support for staff is in place, due to unforeseen sickness absence and
compassionate leave;
 Producing data analysis and regulatory reports and statements. I managed a team of Business
Intelligence Analysts to produce Governance reports, management information and regulatory
information for Bolton at Home. This included, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, producing an
annual value for money statement, as well as monitoring and reporting on Bolton at Home’s adherence
and delivery of local offers and adherence to the national standards. Within Bolton at Home, we used a
cause and effect model, incorporating outcome and output indicators, to provide a balanced overview

inform future resource planning and budget allocation.
 Creating new opportunities and supporting staff, using techniques learned and embedded from
NLP and Managing the Business training, as well as from hands on experience. I managed nine staff. I
also have experience of mentoring and coaching staff and recruiting and supporting apprentices,
gained in this post;
 Policy and service development, including leading consultation with customers and stakeholders. I
reviewed and developed the Customer Care Service, including reviewing the complaints policy and

Service Improvement Coordinator, Isos Housing, 2007- 2012
 I project managed a number of projects at Isos Housing, including preparation and management of
both inspection and mock inspections, various service improvement and policy review projects as well
as research, review and consultation to inform the redraft of the Business Plan;
 I was responsible for producing all performance reports to Board at Isos Housing;
 I project managed a project to review the performance management framework for Isos Housing. I

research associate in order to review our performance management framework. Once we had reviewed
the framework I worked with Consultants, Waterstones, to build an in house performance management
system within Sharepoint. I mapped out the framework within the system. Before building the system, I
carried out research of the various off the shelf systems available (Clearview, Covalent etc), and
carried out cost benefit analysis to understand the potential benefits and risks in building the system in
house. The system was built at a quarter of the costs to ‘off the shelf’ systems (cira. £12,000) and was
tailored to the specific needs of the organisation;
 I carried out the research, consultation and review of the Corporate Business plan at Isos Housing:

 I contributed to the development of several policies at Isos Housing in relation to repairs and
compensation.

the Department of Work and Pensions.
Academic qualifications
MSC Housing (2010) BA Hons Geography (2000) Prince 2 project management qualifications.
I hold an MSc in Housing, and carried out extensive research to understand the impacts of the inspection
regime in driving service improvements in the sector for my final dissertation. I also carried our research for
each assignment.
I have attended many in house training courses, including First Aid and Health and Safety Training. I am a
designated ‘first aider’ at Bolton at Home.
I am committed to my own personal development and I have completed a Yoga Teacher Diploma with
‘Yoga Campus’. My own yoga practice helps me retain a calm and focused approach to my work. I taught
classes to meet the requirements of my course and I’m no longer teaching, due to other commitments.

The system was built at a quarter of the costs to ‘off the shelf’ systems (cira. £12,000) and was tailored to the specific needs of the organisation;  I carried out the research, consultation and review of the Corporate Business plan at Isos Housing: click here;  I contributed to the development of several policies at Isos Housing in relation to repairs and compensation. Various positions, working in administration and customer care 2001- 2007, in the housing sector and for the Department of Work and Pensions. Academic qualifications MSC Housing (2010) BA Hons Geography (2000) Prince 2 project management qualifications. I hold an MSc in Housing, and carried out extensive research to understand the impacts of the inspection regime in driving service improvements in the sector for my final dissertation. I also carried our research for each assignment. I have attended many in house training courses, including First Aid and Health and Safety Training. I am a designated ‘first aider’ at Bolton at Home. I am committed to my own personal development and I have completed a Yoga Teacher Diploma with ‘Yoga Campus’. My own yoga practice helps me retain a calm and focused approach to my work. I taught classes to meet the requirements of my course and I’m no longer teaching, due to other commitments. References: Available on request.
