Job Profile: To manage the Edgars Chain Strategy and a team of QA
Technical Managers and their teams ranging from Ladies Outerwear,
Intimatewear, Menswear, Childrenswear, Textiles, Knitwear, Jewelry and
Footwear and Accessories. To assist in achieving business objectives through

Job Description: Quality Assurance Technical Manager – Ladieswear
Job Profile: To manage the strategy and a team of technologists. To
assist in achieving business objectives through technical support and the
monitoring and maintenance of QA standards by both internal and external
stakeholders.
Output Responsibilities
Formulate corporate governance and
business operating principles to
minimize operational and reputational
risks for the Group.
Determine solutions to meet suppliers
production needs/constraints
Effectively administrate the
implementation of the QA standards,
through a proactive and reactive

Conducting training sessions to ensure
suppliers/merchants are exposed to
appropriate facts, values and
processes relating to QA.

scale i.e. systems, processes, ways of training vendors, shape blocks for
problem areas in patterns.
Project Tech Pack (cross-functional team covering all aspects/areas of the
business i.e. Intimatewear, footwear, knitwear, menswear, textiles, hardlines) –
Unpacking the current process, coming up with clearer/improved ways keeping
the business needs in mind and ensuring improved effectiveness. Consistency
was key across all areas. Recommendations from project currently in place.

Job Profile: To provide a Technical support function for relevant
stakeholders (merchants/sourcing/suppliers) to facilitate customer satisfaction
with adherence to quality standards and procedures set by the QA Division. To
ensure that bulk production is in line with the required quality standards
interfacing between the Chain, Sourcing and Suppliers. To develop and
maintain detailed construction/engineering performance standards of products

To assist in achieving business objectives through technical support and the monitoring and maintenance of QA standards by both internal and external stakeholders. Output Responsibilities Formulate corporate governance and business operating principles to minimize operational and reputational risks for the Group. Determine solutions to meet suppliers production needs/constraints Effectively administrate the implementation of the QA standards, through a proactive and reactive service. Conducting training sessions to ensure suppliers/merchants are exposed to appropriate facts, values and processes relating to QA. Ensure records are kept of changes and updates. Drive and maintain standards of quality assurance development throughout the supply chain which drives customer retention on sales. Ensure maximum profitability by extending lifetime value to customers through the delivery of optimal customer service. Monitor Supplier performance and identify problematic QA trends.
