She holds a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University and currently works as the Campus Librarian at Harrison College in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she oversees library operations and provides reference and instruction services. Prior to her current role, she held positions at various libraries including the North Madison County Public Library and Muncie Public Library.
