I have a total experience of 26 years & expertise in Project management, Plant Maintenance,
Operation management, Project development, General management and strategic management .Core
expertise is with steel (long products and seamless pipe industry) and Aluminium with prominent Indian
business industries.
Having experience in techno- commercial with respect project management and procurement of
spares, predictive and preventive maintenance techniques. Successfully commissioning the integrated
steel plant at wardha,6HI rolling mill and hydrogen annealing at M/s Hero cycles ltd, Revamping of
Blooming mill and Olson soaking pit M/s Kalyani Carpenter Steels Ltd.
I have extensively worked on SAP – PM & PP Modules, and in implementation of TPM in a Leadership
role.
Hands on experience on the production knowledge of an integrated steel plant (steel melting, rolling
mills and Galvanizing) and Aluminium industry and seamless industries.
Presently working as Sr. General Manager- project for M/s JINDAL SAW Ltd-Nashik.
Overall in-charge of projects & maintenance and responsible for the erection and commissioning of
PQF mill, SRM, Q &T furnace, Hydro tester, and PMC threading machines, expansion for production for
increasing the productivity, Oxy fuel project for RTHF furnace to eliminate the usage of furnace oil and
getting saving of Rs.75lacs /month.

2. Planning for the line balancing of the new cold mill for increase in the production.Looking after new
product development for the new product to widen our range of production.
My job profile includes plant engineering and plant maintenance to increase the machine availability
and upkeep of the machineries to meet the companies targets, spares management and look after
projects for timely execution. Implementation of 5S and TPM in the plant and to achieve high
productivity, and to improve the skill of work-force. Successfully completed and started taking power
through open access through IEX and starting bidding the power as per the planning of running the
plant.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
Project management, Maintenance Planning, Spares Management, and to interact with internal /
external agencies for timely execution of projects, maintenance jobs and to improve the Overall
Equipment Effectiveness of the plant for meeting planned production.
Ensure adherence of safety practices for all employees working in site.
Implement and maintain quality systems and drive continuous improvements. Improve equipment
availability by reducing planned & unplanned delays.
Working as a TPM chairman for implementing of TPM in the plant.
M/S KALAYANI CARPENTER SPECIAL STEELS LTD, PUNE Aug 2006 – Mar 2010
M/s Kalyani Carpenter is in the business of producing the special steel long products and ingots for
forging industries.
As a Vice-president ( Projects & Maintenance) and was responsible for the entire maintenance of the
plant for improving the productivity and spares management, and implementing of the new projects.
Achievements: Achieved the highest production of 506 heats in electric arc furnace and 16500MT of
rolling (from 375 heats and 12500 MT of rolling) by increasing the utilization from 85% to 95 %.
Successful erection and commissioning of Blooming mill and soaking pit supplied by M/s OLSON USA.
Secondary fume extraction system for the electric furnace,
Commissioning of vacuum ingot casting of capacity of 75 MT.
M/S JINDAL ALUMINIUM LTD Jan 2004 – Aug 2006
The company is well known for producing Aluminium extrusions in the country.
As Head (maintenance), was responsible for the entire maintenance and upkeep of the machineries.
Achievements: successful erection and commissioning 6500 T extrusion hydraulic press.
Increased the machine utilization from 75% to 88% by reducing the breakdowns, and systematic
implementation of the preventive maintenance practices.

3. Hero Cycles cold rolling division is the well known for supplying of the cold steel to the well renowned
group of HERO which is one of the producer of two wheeler and well known in the automobile industry,
As Head (Mechanical-MAINT): Responsible for the entire mechanical maintenance of the plant.
Achievements: Successful erection and commissioning of 6HI rolling mill and hydrogen annealing
furnace.
Conversion of all nitrogen annealing furnaces, in to 100% Hydrogen annealing for better productivity
and high quality of finish.
M/S LLOYDS STEEL INDUSTRIES LTD Apr 1993 – Nov 1999
M/s Lloyds steel industry is one of the largest integrated steel plant in the country for producing the
flat products and also steel plates.
As DY. Manager (Mech.maintenance)
Achievement: Successful erection and commissioning of the integrated steel plant from procurement
of the land stage to the erection and commissioning of the entire steel melting shop, hot mill, cold
mill, and Galvanizing plant, as a turnkey project.
M/S JOSTS ENGINEERING CO. LTD Apr 1988 – Mar 1993
Jost’s Engineering Company is well known for the design, supply and commissioning of automatic spray
painting plant and material handling systems for automobile industries.
As Project Engineer for looking after estimation, planning, design, and execution of the projects of
spray painting plant and material handling systems as per customer’s requirement.
Achievements: Design and supply of spray painting plant for M/s Premier auto industry, BPL Sanyo for
painting of TV cabinets and music systems, Powder coating plant for M/s Crompton Greaves for
painting of motors.
