Manchar lake is the largest lake of Pakistan.
18. Coal
There are huge reserves of coal at
melting jhumpir in Thatta district.
There are about 25 million metric
tons of coal deposits in these
reserves. A new coal field has also
been discovered in tharparkar.
19. Salt
We get salt from saran lake in taluka
deeplo district tharparkar. It is the
biggest salt lake in sindh another salt
lake is located in taluka khipro district
sanghara. It is gotten about 200
metric tons of salt from the sea water
at maripur near Karachi.
20. Lime stone
The large quantity of lime
stone is available in all the
mountains of sindh.
21. Alum
In our province sindh alum is found
in Khirthar ranges. Water is filtered
with help of alum it has so medical
uses.
22. Gypsum
It is very valuable stone. It is
mainly found in most mountain of
sindh. It is used for manufacturing
cement.
23. Chemical fertilizers
Silica sand
It is used in manufacturing glass. Our
province has big reserves of this sand.
Sodium compound
It is found in lakes of khairpur and
the valley of eastern NARA. It is used
in manufacturing soap.
24. Natural recourses
Our sindh is filled with natural
recourses. Like Iron, Gas, Petrol,
Uranium etc is available in sindh. In
the comparison of Baluchistan and
KPK our sindh has larger sources of
Iron, Gas and Petrol.
