MyLabIT- Pearson
PLEASE READ- Important information on accessing your MyLabIT
This is a major part of the course
Pearson MyLabIT
You will be using Pearson MyLabIT to complete most of the assignments and the
quizzes/final exam. You will need to register firs with MyLabIT. To get started, you
must click on any of the MyLabIT reading material, or assignments. This will trigger
the registering.
After you have registered, you will be able to access any of the project or reading
material from MyLabIT
Types of Class Activities
Reading Material
◦ Provides access to course online book. You will
have links that will bring you to the reading
material for the unit
Simulations
◦ Provides an authentic learning experience with
realistic skill-based training and assessment. The
simulations in the course are based on readings
from the chapters within the online textbook.
Grader Projects
◦ Allows you to have a real work environment
experience that will help you build the skills you
need to succeed. You will be working with a
project within the main application program for
that unit. You will follow step by step to
complete the project. Once you submit your
grader project, it will be graded automatically.
*Simulations and grader projects you can complete them a total of three times to improve your grade, before the due date of
that task. You can start these assignments and if you need to exit and finish later there is a Save button. This does not apply to
quizzes/exams.
Exams
•Midterm and final Exam
◦ This exam is completed within MyLabIT and it is a multiple choice and simulation-based exam
◦ You are allowed to complete them one time and CANNOT start and stop them
•All exams and quizzes must be completed during the week assigned. There is no late acceptance of any
quizzes/exams
MyLabIT Grade Information
The Blackboard gradebook will only show the score for the assignments
To view what you have missed, you will need to access the MyLabIT Gradebook.
This will show you exactly what you will need to work on, if you need to re-sumit
the simulation or grader project.
To access the grades, click on MyLabIT Grades and Tech Support link. Click
MyLabIT Grades – Click here to View MyLabIT Grades.
There is a video in this section that goes over finding your detailed grade
feedback for that activity.

If you are having issues with MyITLab and/or cannot view or it will not open
