Crocodiles Crocodiles have tough,  scaly skin. They are  gray-green or olive- green with long, slender  snouts (noses). Their length are between 7-15 feet. They weigh between  150 –  450 lbs. They can live for 60-70 years. They love to eat  small fish, invertebrates( 無脊椎動物 )   , reptiles, birds and mammals. They seldom attack human being except for being disturbed.
Crocodiles -  Crocodiles are found in coastal mangrove( 紅樹林 ) wetlands, ponds, coves, creeks and canals.  - Crocodiles are shy, reclusive and rarely seen by people.
Crocodiles ※   Threats  ※ illegal killing and road kill are the greatest threats faced by the crocodiles.  - People love to taste the crocodiles’ flesh and they love to use their skin to make handbags or shoes.
Crocodiles Though protected by law, the crocodiles are under enormous pressure from the illegal collection of eggs and live animals. Around a thousand crocodile farms have been established in Cambodia, and many farmers have admitted to buying wild-caught crocodiles. Once on the farms, the wild Siamese crocodiles are easily hidden among the captive-bred crocodiles. In addition, Some of the most important crocodile sites in the mountains are also under serious threat from hydroelectric dams.

Luckily, the  **Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, an international treaty with 172 member countries. Appendix I listed species cannot be traded commercially. Appendix II listed species can be traded commercially only if it does not harm their survival.  We can help by adopting an animal at the  Wildlife Adoption Center  and   launched a nationwide awareness campaign, and achieved recognition of Siamese crocodiles as a national conservation priority.
