Some considerations when undertaking research within the Critical Care Environment; presentation to students in the Graduate Diploma of Critical Care Nursing - University of Canberra
Adithyaelearning provides SAS CDM Online Training to the candidates having knowledge in the SAS. Throughout this course the participants will become qualified on the Clinical programming models as well as their usage in field of clinical research. The center areas for the course incorporate data integration, data manipulation, data listings production, figures and tables as per Statistical Examination Plan, as well as generation of reports and graphs. Besides this participants can be trained based on fundamental principles as well as concepts in the statistical methodology as well as clinical trials.
Clinical Research is a most knowledge-intensive and interesting field in the pharmaceutical industry. There are more than 2, 50,000 positions unemployed in global Pharmaceutical industry.
Importance of clinical trials in drug developmentDevanshKarnani2
The pharmaceutical industry is constantly going through rapid growth and progress in creation of new medication and drugs to combat the pandemic and its effects. The pharmaceutical industry is undergoing drastic changes in their methods of production with more and more organisations realising the sheer importance of clinical trials and research and how much it aides them in the development of drugs for disease.

CONSISTENCY OF CLINICAL DATA REPORTING BETWEEN CLINICALTRIALS.GOV AND PUBLICA...Clarinda Cerejo
This poster presents a summary of research conducted to assess consistency of data reporting between clinical trials listed on clinicaltrials.gov and corresponding peer-reviewed medical publications for oncology drugs approved by the FDA between 2014 and 2016.
The Four Phases of Clinical Trials Before Market ApprovalRobert Hindes MD
Trek Therapeutics co-founder Robert Hindes, MD was previously a member of the faculty at Yale University in Connecticut. A consultant with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, Robert Hindes, MD consults with drug manufacturers on clinical trials for new drugs.
Regulatory Medical Writing: The Challenges of Writing Patient Narratives Cognibrain Healthcare
Patient/Safety narratives are important documents of clinical study reports writing and pharmacovigilance activities. They are written to report deaths, serious adverse events, adverse events of special clinical interest, and any such events in a clinical trial of the drug.
An introduction for those who may be interested in a career in clinical research, but need to understand the industry and their potential for a role in it.
Provides an overview of the later stages of drug development, explaining the phases of drug studies and explores in brief the key roles for those participating.

Orthopaedic Care Shifts to Outpatient and Urgent Care ClinicsApril Bright
The Shift in Care Delivery - As the healthcare delivery system evolves, hospitals may no longer be the first stop for patients seeking orthopaedic care. This is evidenced by the growing trend of surgeons moving to the outpatient setting, as patients seek less invasive procedures. Orthopaedic urgent care centers have also emerged as a viable alternative, due to their ability to address price concerns in the industry by reducing time and overhead costs for both providers and patients.
Attendees gain more insight into this shift, and learn how it will affect demands on manufacturers from a product design and delivery standpoint.

The Clinical Research industry is projected to reach 68.9 billion dollars by the year 2026. The growing prevalence of disease continues to greatly boost the clinical trial market. The increasing number of patients fighting against specific disease serves as a strong stimulus for the Biopharmaceutical companies to invest more in clinical trials to aid in winning the fight against these diseases. A strong component of the fight against is having Clinical Research Sites dedicated to Clinical Research. This means that Biopharmaceuticals and Clinical Research Organizations need more Clinical Research Sites and you can meet this need by becoming a Clinical Research Site Owner

Editor's Notes
Introduce self and role. Feel free to ask questions / interrupt, want to make it interactive. Who has participated in, or undertaken research? What do you know about research in the critical care environment? What do you think about research in the critical care environment?
Today I want to discuss a few topics relating to research in the critical care environment
All of these are quantitative in nature (meaning they use numbers). Qualitative is not included. Some studies are not suited to randomised control trials, eg: lived expereince
Efficacy - Insulin Safety – Activated protein C
What do we know about the population? How does it differ from doing research at a shopping centre? The patient population is: unwell, unable to make decision for themselves. So how do we obtain consent from an unwell, unconscious person. We don’t! does this mean we can enrol anyone into any research project? NHMRC
Don’t have time, The ‘So what’ questions: What will it do for me, What will it change Where to next? Come and discuss your ideas with us... Grad Dip Crit Care Build our own body of research and knowledge – we are not the same a medical, etc… People get scared by the term ‘research’. In generic terms this could mean, implementing best practice, undertaking QA, or doing research… where to start?
