1. Digitisation:
The media industry has become digitised, because of this it is very
easy to converge different types of media. Media can now be
converged between hardware, software and online media to its full
extent. It also allows us, the audience, to have a higher level of power,
in terms of content.
An example of convergence would be my iPhone for example.
Phones before only had one purpose and that was to call people, now
they are as powerful as the computers that brought us to the moon
and can be used for a wider range of activities.
2. Convergence
My iPhone was one of the most useful pieces of equipment I used
throughout the process of pre-production and post production. It allowed
me to research, organise, produce and distribute content, in an easy way
at very high speeds.
It is a perfect example of convergence and the development of my project
would not of been the same without it.

4. How did I integrate technologies, software, hardware and online - in this project.

Converted into iTunes
Put into Premirer Pro
Converted film to mp4
Then put film onto youtube
Then onto blogger
Desired effect
For my project I had to create and edit in my own sound
effects for example footsteps. I did this by going onto
free sound.org then downloading the audio file. Then
what I did was I converted it onto iTunes. Then I edited
the sound effects to the time of the foot steps on
Premiere Pro. After I was done editing I converted my
film to an mp4 and uploaded on to youtube and blogger.
