Objective: to research films in all listed crime subgenres and analyse the characteristics and conventions in the subgenre.
Things to annotate: CONVENTIONS: plot (the storyline), character types, themes, camera techniques (shots, angles, movement,
composition), anything mise-en-scene (costume, prop, lighting, colours, body language/facial expression), editing techniques, sound
techniques
