4. What is TV Drama?
We will go through the varying sub-genres of TV Drama according
to Glen Creeber (2001).
This is a theory YOU MUST apply to the introduction of your
Section A Exam answer VERY briefly.
5. Single Play TV Drama =
A one off TV Drama (docu-drama for example)
Long Form TV Drama =
A continual multi-episode/series where the narrative concludes
at the end of a series and/or leaves the audience on a cliff
hanger.
This is the most common for of TV Drama.

This changes EVERY year so YOU WILL need to be prepared to answer a question on ALL
SEVEN areas.

analysing, however the only important thing worth referring
to in the exam is the name of the text and identify what sub-
genre it is according to Glen Creeber (2001)
This is where the exam changes every year

alterations.

Extension – YOU COULD consider what some of the anti-stereotypes COULD be in relation to
