The credit sequence for Deadpool (2016) features hand drawn animation in the style of the character. It begins with the director's name set to a George Michael song. The cast names are shown in red with humorous comments next to some names. Subsequent credits continue the humorous tone, telling a story with the Deadpool animation. Production company logos are displayed with Deadpool riding a unicorn. The film title ends the sequence in bold red letters on a black background, keeping it simple.

3. The First Shot
This is the first shot that is shown in the credit sequence. This shows the director name which is Tim Miller. The film
theme for the credits are going for the fun and out there personality shown in hand drawn animation. This relates to
the theme that Deadpool has throughout the film in which he is outgoing, controversial, funny and also not the
stereotypical superhero. The colour of red is used as this is the colours of Deadpool so they have kept to the theme
of the character.
The music that is used in the title sequence is using a pop song which is George Michael which is a jazz and slow.
However the music connotes the pictures that are used in the credits are matching the music that is been played.
4. Cast
The first shot of the cast is shown by using the same red theme as the cast were shown. However the graphic
designers of the credits have decided to make fun of the credits including the Deadpool animated characters placing
the comments for the names including “he hot” on the Ryan Reynolds name. This shows that the credits are
following the same theme as the film that it doesn’t take itself seriously while they are showing who stared in the
film. This also can tell the audience that Deadpool was played by Ryan Reynolds with the comment that has been
placed next to his name.
5. The Rest of the sequence
.The rest of the sequence shows the names of different departments that feature in the sequence. For example the
producers, designers and managers that all worked on the film. Within the names on the screen it kind of telling a
story about the animated character Deadpool. It makes it more interesting to watch while normally people would
turn it off. The colour scheme is still red, black and white and allows to keep the colours of Deadpool.
6. Production
Towards the end of the credits and now are winding up of the credits sequence.
The shot still has the same theme throughout with the red, black and white text and uses a Deadpool animation
which is on a unicorn. The production companies that are displayed are Kinberg Genre/ The Donners Company and
shows the audience who has made the film.
7. Title of the Film (End of Credits)
The name of the film is the last shot in the credit sequences. The title has a black background with the bold red title.
This I believe help to get to the point that the film is trying to keep it simple and not needing to be fancy like other
superhero films. The text is easy to read as it is clear red colour and the bold capitals allow it to stand out on the
screen. It covers most of the screen and showing that it is the most important part of the shot.
