This eTwinning project involved students from two Greek schools - DDMN Primary in Chania and Stavraki Primary in Ioannina. The students from DDMN Primary had a grandmother tell them a traditional Cretan tale called "The Riddle". The students from Stavraki Primary then read the tale, wrote their impressions, drew pictures, and mailed them to the students in Chania. In the end, the students from both schools collaborated digitally to create their own version of "The Riddle". Through this exchange, the students learned about different cultures, practiced writing and communication skills, and enjoyed sharing with their peers.

The Intercultural Art Education project in Vienna, Austria uses workshops and seminars to strengthen personal expression of multiculturalism, diversity, and cultural tolerance. In November 2014, Primary School NR 6 in Olsztyn, Poland started a "Talent Show" project where they invited students aged 6-12 and teachers to develop their talents responsibly in areas like dance, sports, music, art, intellectual pursuits, and theatre. Over 100 students from the school participated in the final "Talent Show" event on March 25, 2015, where everyone cheered on the participants and wished them continued success in developing their abilities.

A 3-hour workshop was held at the Evening High School of Aigaleo on November 17th, 2016 regarding the use of historic photographs and other visual materials in studying European History. The workshop featured presentations by history teachers on using visual sources and a student presentation titled "A picture is worth a thousand words" where 10 students presented moments from Greek and European history through photographs. Photographs provide important windows into the past both for their aesthetic qualities and the data within, and when used with other sources can provide a balanced look at history not possible through words alone.

During a service learning experience, the author participated in tours for developmentally disabled school-aged children and their families. The author engaged the children in "looking activities" and a scavenger hunt. They also developed curriculum and activities to promote tours for special needs students occurring monthly. The service learning experience provided a better understanding of teaching exceptional students and will help in the author's future career.

Five students and two teachers stayed with Danish families and participated in project activities at the Kjellerupskole school. They were impressed by the modern facilities at the school and the hospitality of their Danish hosts. The mobility activities included LEGO building, filmmaking around achieving goals, and visits to a modern art museum and aquarium. The students felt they had opened a door from Greece to Denmark and emphasized making new friends as the most important part.

It's time to tear up the page--or at least our view of the page as the unit for building a website. Atomic design offers a systematic, modular approach to web development in which simple building blocks are combined to form more complex elements. The page that was once a single unit becomes a construct, built up of portable, reusable components that can be shared across the site or other sites in a web ecosystem. This session will explore how an atomic approach can be applied to any Sitecore development project, the advantages that surface both initially and over time and lessons learned from some real websites built with atomic interface architecture.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
