This document discusses ideas for advertising a Canon camera. For an advertorial, the writer proposes using more images with informative text. 2. This is one of my ideas for the advertorial, I wanted to still have
text, but lean towards images a tiny bit more just because the
target audience might like to have more visuals. With the
advertorial I still wanted to have lots of information and text. On
the my article I will use the Sans Serif font, I want to use this font
as I think its visually appealing on the eye as compared to the
arial font. In my text I will include the features of the camera and
talk about Canons thoughts on the camera and why they made it
and compare the Canon camera to others, I will also link Canon
to the journey brief showing that this camera is good for journeys
and they are good at landscape photos, and specially target
people who like to take nature photos while showing the
versatility of the camera. I will also be comparing Canon to other
businesses showing that they are beginner friendly and is a good
investment to a business. For the images I will have images that I
took with the camera, the images will have a theme of journey
that will be talked about in the advertorial also, the photos will
be aspirational and all have a link, they will be good quality with
good vibrant colours to catch attention as well.

3. This my idea for the poster advert, I will be using the classic
Canon font in my poster on the top left, There will be a black
background or a dark grey/navy, and the Canon will go
overlapping on the photo and the background so its still
recognisable and doesn’t fall in the background but still stands
out while giving the photo using the Canon camera its stand out.
The main image I will be using will most likely be a straight on
angle or a high shot, over the image I might but a catchy title or
saying that links this poster to the journey brief that was stated
by Canon. In the bottom right of the photo there will be a
vignette in the bottom right corner that creates an overall flow
and less block-iness in the advert, and in the corner there will be
a close up photo of the camera and the Canon info to the left of
that and the website to find the camera.
