I was recently working as Sales Manager at Futuraform Ltd. Sti., producing various products from GRP.
I was responsible from pricing, budgeting, marketing of project based products both in local and
international markets.
I started as Fleet Executive at BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO where I developed my international
environment experiences. I managed a team of 15 people in 8 different offices and a budget of ~ $30M
which is the 2nd
biggest budget of the company. My direct reports were Business Development
Manager, Head of Trade Marketing & Distribution, Marketing Director of Turkiye and GM. Recently,
starting from 1 August 2011, due to organizational changes I was also assigned as EH&S Executive.
Since then my role was Fleet and EH&S Executive.
Before BAT, I was recently working as Assistant Regional Sales Manager (for Passenger Cars) for Doğus
Automotive, since Jan 2005. I managed 8 VW dealers in 7 different cities in Aegean Region (also used
to manage 9 VW dealers in Eastern & South Eastern Anatolia) in Turkey. I was responsible of
budgeting, profit/loss, assessment & recruitment, performance monitoring and local & national
marketing activities parallel to VW and Doğuş Automotive strategies in the assigned territory. I was also
responsible from stock management and minimum stock positions of the dealers. I planned the retail
sales and market share targets of dealers and region. I was monitoring and reporting to sales manager
and GM. I have planned and implemented 2 new dealers in 2 different locations. I have given many
dealer based trainings (Product, Sales Techniques, Expert Sales Techniques, Relationship Management,
etc.). I was also preparing competitors’ product reports.
Formerly, I managed after-sales operations as an Aftersales Specialist, at Birmot, a Koç Group company,
since Aug 2001. I was responsible from 12 services’ aftersales operations, customer satisfaction
development, profit/loss, and budgeting, local & national marketing activities. I was directly reporting to
After-sales Coordinator and GM. I was given a chance to prove myself as a result oriented, decision
making and a team working professional. In a 2 years time I was promoted as Aftersales Manager, in
Antalya branch, where I successfully lead operations 20 months.
This was after working as Business Development Assistant for a private company, Doruk Group of
Companies, lasted 2 years during university education. I was responsible for management-buy-out
operations and preparing investment feasibilities for new emerging sectors.
My experience in business development, sales & after-sales operations along with academic background
in industrial engineering gave me a broad range of skills. My client facing experience in sales & after-
sales operations over ten years strengthen my understanding of the dynamics in both retail & wholesale
