1 Spreadsheet for Business To be merged with Business Analytics It has been proposed that the basics of spreadsheet can be
taught through Business Analytics in Term-II and apply
throughout the Program in various domain.
2 Statistics for Business Decision Statistics could be merged in BRM &
BA
The paper was purely statistics based and was having overlap
of content with BRM. The emphasis needed to be given to
use of statistical tools via spreadsheets and apply the analysis
thus performed for Decision Making. Hence there was a need
to restructure the course.
3 Business from Legal, Ethical and CSR
perspective
Proposed to shift in Term-IV Holistics concept of business can be taught after significant
core courses completion thus shifted to Term-IV.
4 Statistical Analysis and Decision Making Newly Added Topics of Fundamental mathematics are already been
covered in Foundation course. The course will be merging
statistical concepts, analysis using statistical tools through
spreadsheets and using the information for effective decision
making. The paper is carefully designed so that there is no
overlapping of content with BRM. This input is received from
discussion of curriculum review committee and Area faculty.

  • 9. S. No. Course Change Proposed Rationale 1 Spreadsheet for Business To be merged with Business Analytics It has been proposed that the basics of spreadsheet can be taught through Business Analytics in Term-II and apply throughout the Program in various domain. 2 Statistics for Business Decision Statistics could be merged in BRM & BA The paper was purely statistics based and was having overlap of content with BRM. The emphasis needed to be given to use of statistical tools via spreadsheets and apply the analysis thus performed for Decision Making. Hence there was a need to restructure the course. 3 Business from Legal, Ethical and CSR perspective Proposed to shift in Term-IV Holistics concept of business can be taught after significant core courses completion thus shifted to Term-IV. 4 Statistical Analysis and Decision Making Newly Added Topics of Fundamental mathematics are already been covered in Foundation course. The course will be merging statistical concepts, analysis using statistical tools through spreadsheets and using the information for effective decision making. The paper is carefully designed so that there is no overlapping of content with BRM. This input is received from discussion of curriculum review committee and Area faculty. . Rationale of Proposed Changes
