you are unsure of your score, do not register for ENG 111 in the upcoming
semester.

plan to use AP credits earned for science courses. You should take the college-
level courses.

● If you are planning to attend a healthcare professional school, you should not
plan to use AP credits earned for science courses. You should take the college-
level courses.
● If you plan to major in a life science area, we advise against using AP credit for
Biology (BIO/MBI 116) or College Chemistry (CHM 141/144,142/145). Miami’s
BIO/MBI 116 course covers topics in more depth and upper level courses are
designed with the expectation that you have taken BIO/MBI 116 here.
