1. Costume:
Main Female Character:
The main female characterwill be shownwearingawhite dressandcardigan.I have done this
because the conventionsbehindthe colourwhite representpurityandgoodness.Thisisimportant
as I am relyingoncostume to portray the narrative.The female characterisan Angle (A goodgirl)
taintedbyherloverthe male whois a devil (the badguy).Asthe plotcontinuesitwill show how the
girl has changedherdresscode to a blackdress.Showingshe hasturnedbadand is no longerthe
white angle.
I have useda longwhite dressanda short blackdressto show the contrast inher behaviour.The
longwhite dressismodestandrepresentsherashyindividual,yetatthe party the shortblack dress
will showoff herappearance agive herthe lookof a ‘partygirl’resemblingmanygirlswhogoto

Female- Forthe female characterIhave chosenEmily.She hasbeen
involvedinschool productionsandthoroughlyenjoysacting.She will
be able to bringa strong sense of character tomy musicvideo,she is
a kindand level headedperson.Iknowshe willbe able toplaymy
character withmeaningandstayin the role of a strongwilled
character. Emilyisalsoof an age where she attendsfestivalsand
goesout clubbingwithfriends,therefore she fallsunderthe
categoryof mytarget audience andtherefore will targetthemtoo.
Male- Matt similartoEmilyhasparticipatedinschool shows.He doesmediaaswell andtherefore
will appreciate qualityandmeetingdeadlines.Mattisa veryfriendlyandconfidentpersonwhowill
be able to geton withall my cast. I chose to use matt because hisage resemblesthe malesinmy
target audience.He isnewtothe clubscene but still enjoysgoingtofestivalswithfriendsand

Party group- The party groupwill consistof about15 malesandfemalesaged17 to 19. Thisis
because upondoingmytargetaudience researchIdiscoveredthatthisage groupenjoyedmygenre
of music.Inorderfor my musicvideotoappeal tothisage groupthe storyline and the actorsmust
relate tothem.Alsodue to usingmyschool as a location,itmeantthat a lot of people were happyto
volunteer. Groupof people inmyyear.

3. Props:
My propsare goingto playa huge role inthe makingof mymusicvideoasI am relying onmy
narrative toreflectthe lyricsandthe meaningbehindthe song.Like Ihave alreadymentionedthe
propsand costume will showthe change inpersonalityof the girl butalsothat appearancesdon’t
matteras towardsthe endof the musicvideoitshowshow the girl hasstayedwiththe male
character because she loveshim.Notbecause of whathe lookslike orhow he acts. The blackdevil
hornswill reflectnegative conotations.
Whenanalysingthe lyricsIcreatedthe storyline thatthe female isstuckina relationshipwithabad
guy; he cheats.Yetshe isunable toleave him, she thinksshe isstrongbutshe can neversayno to
the lookon hisface so she stays.Therefore Idecidedtocreate fantasycharacters.SomethingKygo
has done before inhispreviousworkwithAstronauts/Aliens. Ichose AnglesandDevils.The good
and the bad.The colourof these propsisimportantandwill helpportrayemotion.
White angel wings.
White angle wings represent heaven, purity and goodness. My female
character needs to reflect these traits and therefore with the use of white
clothing, the angel wings will show she is pure, kind and innocent. It will be the changing of
the wings which will reflect her personality and emotions.
Black Angel wings.
The black angel wings similar to the White will reflect certain connotations,
however this will be negative. When I think of the term a Dark Angel I tend to
think of an Angel who has fallen from heaven, good turned bad. I wanted to
symbolise through the colour of the wings that my female character has been tempted by
the ‘devil’ male character and has changed to become more like him.

4. X15
Masks
The masks are going to be used to give the illusion that my
characters are at a masked ball. Amongst the party people it will
allow them to blend in, however I intend to get my two main
characters to take off their masks at the end as a symbol to
show they are now really seeing one another for who they are.
Devil horns
The devil hornswill be usedtoallow the audience toformanopinionon
my mainmale character.The devil hornsincontrastto the wingswill show goodvsbad,yetI hope
to alsouse bodylanguage to showthatthis characterisn’tactuallynastyor mean. That appearances
don’tmatter.
Photoframe
The photo frame will be shownata reallycritical momentof mymusicvideo.It
will be shownwhenthe femalecharacterhasfinallyfoundthe strengthtoleave
the male.Up until thispointthe audience will have seenherunhappybuttrying
to make it work,withsunsetsand nightsky’stoshow the passingof time.The scene priortothe
breakup will showthe couple happywhilsttheydance togethersurroundedbynature.Yetinthe
scene withthe photoframe will showthe femalehashadenoughandthe audience will hopefully
sympathise withher.Yetthe photoframe will show the couple inlove,withbothsmiling,givinga
newappearance tothe male character. Reinforcingthattheyare goodtogether.

5. Wallet
The walletisa small propthat will be usedtoshow that the character is onhisway out andwon’tbe
comingback for a while.Itshowsthathe will needtohave moneyhim
and that itbelongstothe male character.
