Corporate marketing internship assignment redo
1. Corporate Marketing Internship- Assignment (Redo)
1. After visiting ecommerceiq.asia, I thought that the website was interesting. The first
thing I saw were insight articles related to ecommerce. Seeing the insight articles right
away helped me understand what ecommerce is as a brand. The website was easy to
navigate as well. The layout was simple and there were a lot of images. The tabs were
clear and concise.
Judging from the website, I think that ecommerceiq is targeted for ecommerce
professionals. Ecommerceiq helps these professionals by providing them information on
ecommerce through research, data and insight articles.
2. There are three ways to drive more traffic to ecommerceiq’s website. Since
ecommerceiq is mainly targeting ecommerce professionals, we can drive more traffic
through social media platforms like Facebook, business-related websites like Business
Insider, and via marketing events.
We can drive more traffic to ecommerceiq’s website using Facebook. Ecommerceiq
would have its own Facebook page. The page would include a profile picture and a cover
photo. The profile picture would have ecommerceiq’s logo, while the cover photo would
include the ecommerceiq’s mission as a brand. It would say “accelerating Ecommerce in
Southeast Asia with data, research, and industry news.” The page would also have posts,
relating to ecommerceiq’s reports, insight articles, and market data from various
Southeast Asian countries. For example, one post would include a link to an insight
article at ecommerceiq, “eIQ Insider: Banking on Small Sellers in a Saturated Online
Fashion Market.”
Another way to drive more traffic to the website is by promoting ecommerceiq in
business-related websites. One website is Business Insider. There would be an ad, asking
ecommerce professionals to visit ecommerceiq.asia if they want to expand their
knowledge on ecommerce. The ad can also appear in the business section of well-known
websites like the Wall Street Journal and Huffington Post and local websites like the
Bangkok Post (Thailand) and Kompas (Indonesia).
Lastly, we can drive more traffic to ecommerceiq’s website by hosting ecommerceiq
events. The events would include presentations given by the staff from ecommerceiq.
The events would also include selected videos and insight articles from the website.
These events would take place in exhibitions and conventions. Ecommerce professionals
from Southeast Asian ecommerce platforms like BliBli and Lazada would attend.
Professionals would be given pamphlets and documents related to the event.
