Executive Summary:
This report include the history of general management of information and communication technology at
Riyadh chamber of commerce and industry (RDCCI) , it is also providing a simple information about RDCCI ,
department structure and each management roles and responsibilities at IT department , all of these are
demonstrated in details.
In addition . the tasks and technique I have been learned and the problems and difficulties that encounter me .
Finally , I will describe my experience and how I benefited from the training program .

1. Introduction:
(Room Online) portal Riyadh window room overlooking them to the outside world and contains the rules of
information governing the endless list of technical services provided by room has a great deal of information
and consulting legal, economic, trade and services women and young entrepreneurs and owners of small and
medium enterprises, as well as State strategies to achieve localization in the Saudization of jobs and the transfer
of technical knowledge to national hands.
Off the room through its portal to the world welcomed to communicate with the business community to
highlight the features of the national economy and the definition of the investment opportunities available in the
Kingdom in general and in the capital in particular area, the definition of foreign visitor regulations and laws in
force in the kingdom and ways and methods to establish trade and investment relationships with companies and
institutions in the Saudi market. We have focused on the Riyadh Chamber of spreading knowledge and
providing information and studied to private sector enterprises in the Riyadh region as one of its strategic goals
while providing their services also to all subscribers, researchers and other segments of society who are able to
enter through (room Online) to the new customer services at the site, which was added to the gate main room as
well as other well-known services using advanced technology applications.
Was also keen Riyadh Chamber, in its quest to keep pace with technological developments accelerating e-
government in the UK, the use of sophisticated modern techniques in transactions and interactive services,
along with its focus on the side of electronic transactions in the economic, financial and trade areas and has
been activating this communication harnessing the technical means to provide renewable and permanent IT
environment development.

2. Organization
2.1 History:
The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RDCCI) was established in 1381 A.H. as a non-governmental
in accordance to a special system and belongs, as other chambers of the Kingdom to the Council of Saudi
Chambers of Commerce & Industry. The RDCCI is a non-profit organization and its main role involves in
rendering all support and special services pertaining to private firms operating in Riyadh Area where they pay
annual subscriptions for the many services and benefits offered by RDCCI.

2.2 Vision
Vision:
The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a civil entity seeks to reinforce and support the role and
position of the work sector in Riyadh, activate its capabilities and aggrandize its resources, explore growth
opportunities and prospective developments ways encountered, restrict its growth hindrances and resolve its
problems, and to coordinate with other chambers to participate in the governmental sector in managing the
Kingdom’s economy and to develop it continuously so as to enable it to encounter international economic
variables and to impart more competitive characteristics to it regionally and internationally .
2.3 Mission:
Missionof Organization:
Representing, protecting and developing commonweal of labors sector in Riyadh which harmonizes with
the national economic common goods and society service. Strengthening the relationship and
communication among the private and public sectors and their joint co-operation along with coordinating
with the other chambers in developing the Kingdom’s economy and enhancing the investment environment
and presenting added services to its members and society.
Missionof Training:
To provide programs supporting education, training and research to prepare and qualify specialized staff
in accordance with the highest professional standards.

2.4 Information:
Enjoying the strategic location in the heart of Riyadh City – the capital of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh
Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RDCCI) ,We are now living in the Communication Era. The race towards
the quantity and quality of communication information indicates the progress and the development desired and
aimed at by all countries. It is inevitable to participate in this race.
The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RDCCI) Information Center attempts to achieve progress and
advanced development in compiling and disseminating special information required by businessmen and
researchers in various fields of economy. The RDCCI also aims to benefit from the abundance of domestic,
Arab and international commercial and industrial data and statistics. This special information is compiled,
organized and disseminated by the Information Center as specialized databases. Beneficiaries from different
sectors of the national economy can easily search and retrieve this information.
The Center is keen to periodically maintain and update statistical data relating to the local and foreign
economies with the aim to develop constructive relations between the Center and the private sector researchers..

3.1 Department Structure:

3.2 Role and Responsibility:
1. Put controls and instructions for the technical support department.
2. Participate in the development of technical specifications for the needs of the branch.
3. Participate in technical studies for future projects to the needs of the branch of hardware and software,
and networks.
4. Receiving reports of malfunctions own networks and computers and accessories in various units of the
branch computer and the processing and follow-up.
5. Connecting a new computers to the network.
6. Installing printers, peripherals devices and modules in renewable college.
7. Implementation of and follow-up programs, preventive maintenance and emergency computers,
peripherals and networks.
8. Maintenance of computers, peripherals and networks in the computer at the branch .
9. Provide technical support for all approved programs of work in branch.
10. Preparing and processing computers and software for the branch employees.
11. Continuous updating of operating systems and software regularly such as: - Windows update, Antivirus,
Office
12. Operation and support all systems available at the branch.
13. Creating a local network to work and linked to the external network.
14. Monitoring the network and follow-up performance and solve problems associated with them.
15. Installation of operating systems and auxiliary systems and configured to work.
16. Taking backups of storage spaces for different types of files.
17. Download software and tools for databases.
18. Training all sectors to use the E-portal and web hosting their own official.
19. Preparing the necessary studies for the development of electronic systems.

20. Configuring Database to confine computers and accessories in all units of the branch and the follow-up
update.
21. Preview screening of computers and accessories and make sure the extent of their powers and make the
necessary recommendations.
22. Examination and preview the new computers received and ensure compliance with the required
specifications.

3.5.1 ReasonofIncompletion:
1. Create an android application for RDCCI : because we still don’t have the skill to program in
android framework and there is no enough time to learn .
2. Create and design book for RDCCI accomplish fro year of 2014 : because there is a special
condition and roles of writing books , that’s we did not have learn about it and the training organizer
is too busy to learn us .

3.6 Problems Faced:
Problem 1:
I faced problem with analysis (Subscriptions) System of RDCCI because it is my first time to analysis system
then write documentation .
Problem 2:
I faced problem with format process of devices because it is my first time and there is an important files I am
afraid of lose them.
3.7 Solutions and Attempted Solution:
Solution 1:
Try to revision from slides that we have learned before about analysis basics and take basic steps from training
organizer to start work.
Solution 2:
Visit site of format program to know about process and how to Make sure files will not delete it .

4. Student’s Insight:
During my training I have learned many interested things related to my major, my personality and learning
about work a lot of things such as the communication with employees and how to discover the problem and
solve it in proper way as team work. It was a good chance to expose to the work environment that I will have to
face and practice after I graduate. In my point view, 120 hours is not enough to learn everything but at least I
can see how the work is going on.
