This document discusses cooperative learning techniques. It defines cooperative learning as students collaborating on tasks in small groups, resolving differences, sharing responsibility, considering each other's ideas, and working toward common goals. It identifies five essential elements of cooperative learning: positive interdependence, face-to-face interaction, individual accountability, interpersonal skills, and group processing. Two specific techniques are then described - round robin, where students take turns sharing answers to a question, and buzz groups, where small temporary groups discuss a topic and then share ideas.

CO-OPERATIVE LEARNING is defined as
"the collaboration on a task by a small group
