Control statements in C allow changing the order of execution of statements based on certain conditions or repeating a group of statements. The main types of control statements are selection statements like if/else which allow selecting between blocks of code, and looping statements like while, do-while and for which repeat a block of code until a condition is met. Nested loops involve having loops inside other loops to repeat code multiple times.

This presentation is about Type Conversion, Precedence and Associativity which are important concepts for problem solving in programming languages like C, C++, Java, etc. It will surely help you to improve your knowledge.
Decision making:
In CSharp, various types of decision making statements are available such as if..else, if..else..if, switch etc. Each statement is used to evaluate the specific test. If tests are determined to be true, specific statement will be execued for example : if(a > b) statement1 else statement2. Sometimes when develpoing program that requires to take the decision to execute specific part of program, decision making statement helps to do so.
Switch Case
In CSharp switch acts like a multiple if / else if / else chain. Checks a value against a list of cases, and executes the first case that is true. If no matching case found, it executes the default case. The break(optional) statements with case indicate to the interpreter to end the particular case.

loops play a vital role in any programming language, they allow the programmer to write more readable and effective code. The looping concept also allows us to reduce the number of lines.
Importance of loops in any programming language is immense, they allow us to reduce the number of lines in a code, making our code more readable and efficient.
Visual Basic loop structures allow you to run one or more lines of code repetitively. You can repeat the statements in a loop structure until a condition is True, until a condition is False, a specified number of times, or once for each element in a collection.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

3. CONTROL STATEMENT
There are some situations where one
may have to
Change the order of execution based on
certain conditions
OR
Repeat a group of statements until certain
conditions are satisfied.
23. PRACTICE EXAMPLE
•Big Bazzar gives festival discount on purchase of
their products in the following percentages
i.If purchase amount < 1000 than 5% discount
ii.If purchase amount >=1000 than but <3000 then
10% discount
iii.If purchase amount >=3000 but <5000 then 12%
discount
iv.If purchase amount > 5000 then 15% discount
v.Make an university grading system.
26. Break Statement
• It is an jump instruction and can be
used inside the switch and loop
statements.
• The execution of the break statements
causes the control transfer to the
statement immediately after the loop.
30. Continue Statement
• It is a jump statement.
• It is used only inside the loop.
• Its execution does not exit from the loop but
escape the loop for that iteration and
transfer the control back to the loop for the
new iteration.
32. Goto Statement
• It is used the alter the normal sequence of flow by
transferring the control to some other part of the
program unconditionally.
• It is followed by the label statement which
determine the instruction to be handled next after
the execution of the goto statement.
39. Why Looping
• Printf(“HA HA ”);
• Printf(“HA HA ”);
• Printf(“HA HA ”);
• Printf(“HA HA ”);
• Printf(“HA HA ”);
• Printf(“HA HA ”);
• Need to write 6 time printf() function. (problem)
• Solution : Repitition/Looping.
