SAWG Guiding Principles GUIDE      Shape and guide academic community members in a non- authoritative style  COMMUNITY     Enable NYU's academic sub-communities to easily    connect and collaborate unrestricted by technical or geographic  boundaries ACCESS      Provide ubiquitous access to personal and shared content (e.g., media, data sets, library collections, etc.)  AUTONOMY     Provide NYU community members responsible personal    autonomy to creatively create, manage and share content  EAI      Develop IT system following enterprise application integration  principles, and the University's policies and best practices UXP      Adhere to software development usability and client service  best  practices to encourage and support community adoption ISYNTH      Support the personal synthesis of the complex and enormous quantities  of content/data/media created or used by an individual
