REVIEW ON DOCUMENTARY
Today we had the opportunity to have our first preview of our documentary. We were
allocated a room where we watched our documentary on the big screen without
head phones. From this we could see the comparison we had with regards to our
sound levels, which was a massive help when considering improving our work so far.
Furthermore, from watching it on big screen we could also identify small errors of
which we had either missed out or forgot to input. For example, captions for selected
interviews had been missed out and as a group we felt more cut away’s were
needed during interview footage in order to keep viewers peeled. However, from
watching our documentary in a preview we also found many positives. For example,
specific transitions were very effective therefore we aimed to replicate them
throughout in order to improve our documentary.

Review on documentary

  • 1. REVIEW ON DOCUMENTARY Today we had the opportunity to have our first preview of our documentary. We were allocated a room where we watched our documentary on the big screen without head phones. From this we could see the comparison we had with regards to our sound levels, which was a massive help when considering improving our work so far. Furthermore, from watching it on big screen we could also identify small errors of which we had either missed out or forgot to input. For example, captions for selected interviews had been missed out and as a group we felt more cut away’s were needed during interview footage in order to keep viewers peeled. However, from watching our documentary in a preview we also found many positives. For example, specific transitions were very effective therefore we aimed to replicate them throughout in order to improve our documentary.
