3. Introduction
Composite materials
is a material made from two or more constituent
materials with significantly different physical or
chemical properties

4. Activities (1):
Testing different kinds of ice
Sample (1) : water only
Sample (2) : Water + Tissue
Sample (3) : Water + wood + straw + cotton
Conclusion : Sample (3) was the strongest one and
Sample (1) was the weakest one.
Ice Composite is stronger than pure ice.

Hunting for Composite Materials
We searched around us for composite materials.

Car tires
Natural Composites
: bone

6. Activities (3):Testing Materials For
Strength and Stiffness
We tested Some Materials for strength and Flexibility:
Pasta ,Iron ,nylon ,wood ,Plastic.
Iron was the strongest one while Pasta was the weakest
one

1- Sample (1): Plain foam beams
2-Sample (2): Foam Beam With One Side Paper
3-Sample (3): Foam Beam With two side Paper
The Foam with two side paper is the Strongest one

Pole
The fishing pole must be:
1. Strong
2. lightweight
3. flexibile
The materials that we used:
1- Rope
2- Cotton
3- Small Wood

Some Types Of Food Form Insects in hot
conditions inside the closet like flour ,
uncooked pasta , tea .The food becomes
unhealthy so Our product is designed to
protect food from insects especially in the
summer .

Hypothesis:
We think that The use of fan inside the closet will make
the air circulate inside the closet and prevent the
formation of insects

Methods and Materials
The fan , that we will use , is provided with batteries.
The Fan will be used when the air conditioners are off
(when we are outside the home) , to protect food from
heat and save energy.

 1-It provided good ventilation
 2-protected the food from insects
 3-decreased temperature

Recommendations:
We recommend the use of our product in all the houses
inside the closets to protect the food from insects.

14. Conclusions
We have learned the importance of composite materials
with AL-Bairaq project and we did scientific
experiments for composite Materials.
